December 2026 price changes

Eek, we really should update our blog more often! You’ll find most of our updates contained as weekly posts within our Discord as of late…

Anywho, another year has passed, and the Local Fibre Companies (LFCs) that run our underlying fibre networks, including Chorus, have raised their wholesale prices, alongside our other operating costs increasing too.

We work hard to keep Quic as affordable as possible, but we’re unable to fully absorb these increases ourselves, so need to update our plan pricing.

Effective for service period renewals from 1st December 2026, the following price changes will come into place:

PlanCurrent Monthly PriceNew Monthly Price
Walker (100Mbps/20Mbps)$65.00$67.00
Runner (500Mbps/100Mbps)$90.00$94.00
Sprinter (900Mbps/400Mbps)$110.00$114.00
Rocket 1G (1Gbps/1Gbps)$125.00$128.00
Rocket 2G (2Gbps/2Gbps)$145.00$146.00
Rocket 4G (4Gbps/4Gbps)$185.00$186.00

The above price changes will come into force for any existing customers with a plan renewing from 1st December 2026, as well as any new customer orders from 16th November 2026.

There are no changes to our existing policies or pricing methodologies, including no contract terms on all plans, and no payment gateway fees, and no hidden fees or strings.

By keeping on top of our pricing methodology, this allows our team to provide the quality of service you’ve come to expect from Quic, as well as continue our investment into improvements, innovations and development into the future.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: “Why are you raising prices effective 1st December, when Chorus are increasing prices 1st January?”
A: Throughout the course of the year, we have experienced cost pressures and increases across our service portfolio, including price increases from other LFCs earlier this year. To keep our pricing consistent across the country, we have opted to absorb these price increases for a period of time, and bring forward the Chorus price increases by a month, bringing together a middle ground for the increased costs we’ve already absorbed, and the increased costs coming around the corner.
This allows us to continue to keep consistent pricing wherever you may be based in the country, which keeps our plans easy to understand with no surprises.

Q: “Why are new customers having the price increase from 15th November?”
A: As we run billing in prepaid monthly periods, we cannot change pricing mid-way through a billing period once paid. Therefore by bringing the date forward for new customers, we ensure that there is at least 2 weeks of serviceable billing during December. Alongside this, many new orders come through with a connection date in the future, so bringing this change forward ensures these customers are paying new pricing when going live, often a few weeks after the order is placed.
