Self-service NZ
Cloud Compute

Your homelab. In the cloud.

Quic Cloud Compute is built for customers who like to tinker.

If you run a homelab, experiment with new services, or just enjoy building things for fun (or learning), this is your playground – without the noise, heat, power bills, or hardware failures at home.

Spin up high-performance virtual machines on Quic’s network and treat them like your own personal lab in the cloud. Break things. Rebuild them. Learn something new. Do it again.

Why Quic Cloud Compute?

🚀 Built for builders, not bean-counters

This isn’t “enterprise cloud” weighed down by complexity and surprise pricing. It’s fast, flexible compute designed for people who actually use their servers.

Perfect for:
• Home labbers and self-hosters
• Developers and tinkerers
• Network engineers and students
• Anyone who wants real infrastructure to play with

Serious Hardware, No Compromises

Your VMs run on modern, high-performance infrastructure designed to feel snappy, even under load.
• Fast CPUs for compiling, testing, and multitasking
• High-speed NVMe storage for low-latency workloads
• Plenty of RAM options for containers, VMs, and labs
• Rock-solid data centre infrastructure (no Raspberry Pi vibes here)

You get the freedom of a physical server, without needing to own one.

Q&A’s (mostly A’s)

Payment Options

To keep things simple and automated – we currently only accept payment via credit card, which can either be completed automatically or manually each month, or Online EFTPOS, which needs to be completed manually each month.
Keep in mind that Quic’s services are based on a prepaid model, so you’ll need to pay your bill by the due date to keep it running – this means we can keep our prices low for you!

How do I get support?

Our Cloud Compute control panel gives you all the capability to fully support your server, without needing the intervention of a provider.

There is no system-level support included with these plans, however if you believe there is a systemic or network issue impacting the service, please let us know via our problem reporting in your Quic account

What type of IP Address is provided?

Our VMs all come with an IPv6 address by default, with IPv4 addresses available at time of signup.

How much data is provided?

ALL the data!
But seriously, go for gold – all Quic services have uncapped data. We don’t throttle your connection, but we do have a acceptable use policy to ensure all users have a fair service.

What operating systems are available?

The below operating systems are ready and waiting, however you can also attach custom ISO file for any other operating systems.

  • Oracle Linux
  • Arch Linux
  • CloudLinux
  • Windows Server
  • Alpine Linux
  • FreeBSD
  • Fedora
  • Ubuntu
  • AlmaLinux
  • Rocky Linux
  • CentOS
  • Debian
  • MikroTik RouterOS
What’s the contract term?

Yeah, we don’t do the contract thing! Nada, ziltch, none! We don’t want to tie you in – if you want to leave Quic – no hard feelings, just pop your cancellation through in your account portal and automation takes it from there.
